Georgia Music Hall of Fame & Museum
The Georgia Music Hall of Fame, the state's official music museum, preserves and celebrates Georgia's rich musical heritage. Interactive exhibits tell the stories of legendary Georgia performers like Ray Charles, the Allman Brothers Band, Otis Redding, Johnny Mercer, James Brown, Brenda Lee, Little Richard, Trisha Yearwood and hundreds more. Georgia Sports Hall of Fame
The Georgia Sports Hall of Fame opened in April 1999 and has set the standard for the current wave of state sports hall of fame facilities opening around the country. At 43,000 square-feet, the GSHF is the largest state sports hall of fame in America. It is educational and entertaining for all ages and interests. Lake Tobesofkee Recreation Area
Enjoy fishing, boating, picnicking, tennis, and swimming from one of three white sandy beaches. Ocmulgee National Monument
Ocmulgee National Monument commemorates a 12,000-year continuum of people and their Georgia Fall Line environment. The park consists of 702 acres with over 6 miles of walking trails, 10 temple/burial mounds, a ceremonial earthlodge reconstructed over the original 1,000-year-old floor, a museum, movie, and gift shop are available in the Visitor Center.
